Anywho... LADIES! We are now approaching the most wonderful time of the year... Christmas! Christmas is all about giving, sharing, and loving. What better time of the year to do a giveaway than Christmas session? Hehe.
Here's what's up.... ;)

Why "Surprise Me"? - This giveaway is inspired by My Pretty Pink Box (click HERE to check on the website). The idea behind this "product" is that you buy a box which is filled with samples from different companies. They would include at least 1-2 full size products but mostly the box is composed of sample goodies. What's interesting about it is that you have no idea what you are getting! (Surprise indeed :]) Price (usually around $9-10 something ) and products varies monthly.
I love surprises, therefore I decided to make the prizes surprise for my lovely readers ;) Yes, just like the Pretty Pink Box, the "presents" are mostly compose of samples, mini's, and travel size goodies. Of course I included some full size items. It's a little bit of everything almost, not just makeup related, but other stuff as well. I don't want to give any hints... its a SURPRISE :)

Even the gift wrap is pink!

My gift wrapping skills is not very impressive. Picture making it look decent but it's really sloppy.

This was a last minute idea. I wanted to buy one for myself and I thought why don't I get another one for giveaway? :) [If only I can afford to get another one so both winners have this!]

Looks like its used but I put on my life I didn't use or swatched this. Brand new baby :) Gorgeous peachy pink color.

ReplyDeleteMy Christmas Memory?
Hmmm
Spending Christmas with my all family.
I was a kiddo, I believed in Santa Claus. I love presents and I cared about them the most haha.
But everyone were happy. We were singing, talking, eating etc. I love this memory!

My favorite Christmas memory would have to be me sneaking around when I was younger, looking all over the house for my gifts. I would check my parent's closet from time to time to see if I have any hidden goodie. Good times.

Awww, I love surprises!! =D
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable Christmas is the last one I had in Germany. We had tons of food and gifts. AND OF COURSE SNOW!!!! It like never snows here. :( And I miss it.
Hey girl! What a cute giveaway and awesome idea ^__*
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable Christmas memory is taking a picture with Santa Claus at the mall. I was so scared that he had to tickle me to get a smile!
I'm sure I already have you on twitter but i'll holla at you again!
The fight was amazing, one of the best I've seen. I heard that cotto already gave up way before but his people wouldn't let him! Poor Guy!
I would have to say my fave Christmas entry was when my sister & bro were kids and we all had these little figures made out of sphere styrofoam and the yarn wrapped around these spheres to make a figure. We each had one in different color and were obsessesed with them. During Christmas, we all insisted that we take a Christmas picture with them and we still laugh at that picture till this day. We didn't even care that we had new presents.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea I love this!!! Yeah you got your lippie!! Do you love it?
ReplyDeleteOoh girl, you are a genius. I love this idea! :)
ReplyDeleteMy fave X'mas memory is going to my aunt's house for dinner and being given my first issue of Seventeen magazine as a gift from my older cousin. She told me how much the magazine shaped her as a young woman and bought me a subscription to it. That was my first taste of fashion/makeup/social issues etc.
My favorite Xmas memory is, well, a pretty long story but I'll try to shorten it up a bit! My dad was shot in November 1996 when I was in second grade during a robbery. He wasn't supposed to make it and was in the hospital until the day before Xmas eve. Thankfully, he pulled through and came home! Of course, our house wasn't decorated and there weren't any presents, since all of our free time was spent at the hospital. When my brothers and I went to sleep on Xmas eve, my dad's firefighter buddies bought us presents, decorated the house completely and even made cookies! It was so magical to wake up and see that. They spent so much time making sure we had a great Christmas and it was so touching and sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! I'm also your Twitter follower!

My fave Christmas memory was my first XMAS w/ my boyfriend, now husband! It was snowing, and he still took the time to drop off my present when it was a 35 mins. drive. We exchanged presents and kisses before my mom would wake up and he left :( I had my Christmas lights and everything shining down on us with the falling snowflakes against our faces.

ReplyDeleteHmm my favorite Christmas memory is just having a full 10 course meal with my family. My mom started inviting her friends the past few years and it would be a rowdy time with tons of awesome food. Unfortunately we won't make it home to NYC this year, but I will be meeting my husband's family in Manila for the first time so it should be a good Christmas. :)
This one christmas the whole family was together, it was a BIG reunion back in philippines. That was the first time in 8 years we have been all together since my family moved to canada. It was so nice and fun, and very sentimental =)
ReplyDeletei blogged it on my blog :)

Not sanayhs harassing you, but Cosmetosaur rather. I'm dumb today.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to see the pacquiao-cotto fight arrrghhh

my fav x'mas memory is when i was young and really small. I believe in those santa claus going around sending out presents so i forced myself to stay awake to see him personally. sounds kinda silly! haha but before i know he is just a kids tale i nvr got a chance to stay up all now. somehow i doze off in the middle of the wait.

hey j,
ReplyDeletemy favorite xmas memory is from xmas 2004, when i first returned to my family after having lived in the uk for 4 months. first time really away from home. first time i could afford stuff. so i arranged for my ENTIRE family to gather (we didnt celebrate xmas for years!) and got my dad to dress up as santa for my then 3yo niece and my baby niece!! but my niece was well clever and realised it was my dad immediately haha.

my fav memory was when i was 6. i got a giant stuffed bear that was bigger than me!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas memory was when I was 11 and I remember waking up on christmas morning very very very hungry because nobody prepared for christmas dinner or anything at all last night. My mom was not in the house because she was at the province.
ReplyDeleteMy dad was already up and we were both hungry he made burnt scrambled eggs and bought some loaf bread. It is my favorite christmas memory because I've never shared breakfast with my dad. Most especially he has NEVER cooked for anyone at all. I didn't receive any present, but it was a really nice treat.

Enter me pls!! That lipstick looks divine! :) My best christmas memory was when i was about 5 or 6 and all my cousins came for christmas and we did a holiday show. I was a little helper going down santas sleigh (a bunk bed ladder) down our very steep stairs. It was hilarious and all on film!
ReplyDeleteWhoa awesome giveaway! :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas memory...hmmm...I have many fond ones from childhood, but I'd have to say that my favorite would be of last year. That's because I gave birth late October last year, so that christmas was the very first one we spent with my daughter Laia. She's my best christmas present ever!
My favorite xmas memory was when i was a little girl and still believed in santa claus. I woke up on xmas morning with a tube sock full of the items from my wishlist. Always happy to have such loving parents. :)

my mum burst out laughing & i don't know if it's just my imagination but it seems like the room literally brighten up! & then they began talking again...

ReplyDelete1. My favorite Christmas memory was back in 1999. I still remember it like it was yesterday. The reason why was because in 1999, my whole family was "one." My whole family was together & there was nobody missing. It was a day to share tears&laughters. A day to tell eachother how much we love eachother no matter what happens. Karoke, smiles on everyones face, nothing beats a happy family on Christmas. But things changed, after 1999, nothing was ever the same. Father pasted away, and everything fell apart. That is why the only Christmas memory I have was in 1999.

My most memorable Christmas was the winter when I was about 9...I woke up über early...around 6 am to find my mom sitting on the coach holding a camera. She turned it on and began filming me, this was not out of the norm because you know, when you're young, your parents want to record everything. So as I start to open my presents, and see this table like thing in the corner. I disregard it completely thinking that it's a new table that my parents bought or something and kept right on opening the rest of my presents. Then I see that there's a card ontop of the table like thing and it was addressed to me. The letter goes on to say that I was a good girl and deserved a lot of christmas presents. It also said that my parents loved me very much and that Santa (who wrote the letter...supposedly) knew that I deserved the piano. at the EXACT moment, my jaw DROPPED and I pulled away the table cloth and much to my surprise was this beautiful little keyboard with my name on it! I turned to the camera, jaw wide opened and screamed THANK YOU SANTA! not knowing that it was my mom and dad who bought it all along. :)
ReplyDeleteAfter all those years, I still have that piano and everytime I play it, I remember of that christmas :)
good luck to all the other ladiesss!

hello...
ReplyDeletetnx for stopping by my blog @ snapeat... :)
this is nice, a surprise giveaway. i hope random.org picks me. hehehe...
my favorite christmas memory... it was a loooong time ago, when i was still very young. we were still living in manila and my parents were earning more than enough. we are all together at chritmas time, merry & bright, no problems to think of on that special day. not that money makes you happy but that's the best christmas i can remember. eversince my family transfered to cebu (parents' hometown) to start a new business with my father's siblings and didn't turn out well because of some siblings' bad accusations on my parents and that they made my father leave the company he himself nurtured (with sweat, blood and tears and without even getting salary)... everything was changed, specially christmas celebrations. even until now, everyday is a hard day for my parents of which i wish i can do something but i'm also trying my luck here hoping i could find a job and continue helping my parents (give them what they deserve specially now that they're getting old). that's it. pardon my sentiments... :)

Joining your contest! Anyway my favorite christmas memory happened about 11 years ago. I was 15 back then and my mom and I just completed the "simbang gabi" novena for the very first time. We usually get lazy and sleep late after the 3rd or 4th day. We haven't had the chance to do the simbang gabi again because she moved to the states the year after. I still try to do it but now I just go the 1st and 9th day.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas memory was the last christmas i got to spend with my real dad. He was dying from cancer and we knew he had little time left, so we did it really big the last christmas here was here with us. I remember the smell of chocolate and all the presents. He even put forth energy to go outside and throw snowballs at us. A christmas i will never forget.

ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite Christmas memory? hmm tats hard as i have so many lovely memories but i have to pick one so tat It's one that makes me laugh now but I was devastated at the time. I was around 12 years old. I has asked my dad for a piano meaning an electric keyboard and even went to lengths explaining what it is. So, Christmas day arrives and I'm really excited. I unwrap my unusually small present to find that my Dad has bought my a baby's toy piano!
I was ready to burst in to tears, but I calmly told my Dad that he misunderstood. A couple of days later Dad took me to the shops and bought an electric keyboard for me.
Always makes me laugh when I think of it.

Hey Love!
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable Christmas Memory would have to be the on of Christmas 1999. My mum, dad, and I had just moved into our new house in Georgia. We had no furniture in our living room, but we had this huge ten foot tree! We had ornaments all over the tree, it almost fell down! My mum baked cookies into the wee hours of the night and I fell asleep in front of that Christmas Tree. It was the first Christmas that mum, dad, and I had spent together as a family. It was truly magical. <3<3
Have a great day love!!

Well, I don't celebrate Christmas.. I celebrate Hanukkah but my best memory is from fourth grade. My friends and I gave all our presents away to an orphanage and it was one of the best days of my life, even if I ended up present-less. :)

My favorite Christmas memory was when i went to UK and saw snow fall on christmas day for the first time, although it only lasted like ten seconds it was magical! Much, much more when I was told that it hadn't snowed on christmas day for about 5 years.. at least where i was. =) Thinking of this makes me want to go back!

ReplyDeleteI love Christmas and its meaning. Every year the most memorable is to be with the family.
I`m a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteNow that`s a hard one to answer as there are favorite memories from each Christmas. One year my son must have been 3 years old. He`d open each present and go "Ah, just what I wanted!" Well he opened a puppet crow that made noise and said `"Ah just what I wanted" but the minute he really looked at it he threw it away in fright and started crying. It was too cute that year!
My favorite christmas memory is when I got a furby for christmas, haha! I think I was bout 6 or 7, and I can't ever remember being happier about a christmas present than I was when I got my furby!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was when my five year old nephew woke up in the middle of the night, we 'staged' Santa Claus making his exit, and he was super thrilled about the gifts he received.
ReplyDeleteHe still swears by Santa! :d

Hi, cute giveaway idea. Never tried the pretty pink box but I keep seeing people who have so many one day... eh getting off track.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was being with my husband and son on Christmas 2007, it was my son's very first Christmas he had no idea what was going on, but it was still great. The memory that sticks out the most is everyone unwrapping gifts and then sticking the bows on my son he was completely covered at the end.
